Publication Ethics
Procedure International Journal of Science and Technology is committed to an accurate, fair and durable scholarly record. Editors, reviewers and authors are expected to act with honesty, confidentiality, accountability and respect for research participants and intellectual property.
Author Duties
- Report methods, evidence and limitations truthfully.
- Submit original work and cite all reused ideas, words, data and images.
- List as authors only those who made a substantial contribution and approved the manuscript.
- Disclose funding, conflicts of interest, related manuscripts and prior dissemination.
- Obtain ethics approval and informed consent when required.
- Cooperate promptly with editorial questions, corrections and investigations.
Editorial and Reviewer Duties
Editors protect confidentiality, manage conflicts, select competent reviewers and decide on scholarly merit. Reviewers provide objective advice and must not appropriate unpublished material. Commercial considerations must not determine acceptance.
Allegations and Record Correction
Concerns are assessed using available evidence and with an opportunity for relevant parties to respond. Depending on the findings, the journal may reject a manuscript, correct an article, publish an expression of concern, retract the record or notify an institution or other appropriate body.
